Shared Mailbox

A shared mailbox also know as a departmental email address provides a means to receive email at a general (rather than personal) account. Mail is delivered to a centralized location where it can be accessed by multiple people. To request the creation of a departmental email address, please submit your request to ITRequests@tamucc.edu. The request must be sent from a valid faculty/staff (@tamucc.edu) email address.

Please include the following in the email:

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • The email address you are requesting
  • Who the owner of the account will be
  • Please include their name and IslandID
