WebEx will be conducting an emergency service maintenance on the TAMUCC servers. 

Meeting hosts and participants may experience the following impacts:

Meeting disconnects: Meetings started prior to 2:00 PM may be disconnected sometime between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Hosts will be able to successfully restart any impacted meetings.

Control Hub reporting: Analytics and meetings diagnostics will be available, but for meetings held during the maintenance window, diagnostics will not be available until after the maintenance window is complete.

Recording: Recording WILL be available during the maintenance period, but processing and availability of those new recordings will be delayed for up to 24 hours after the maintenance is completed.

Recording Playback/Download: Recordings that were made prior to this maintenance will NOT be available during this maintenance.

For meetings that are in progress during this part of the maintenance window, if new participants join a meeting, they will NOT be in the same session as the original meeting.  The new participants will be in a new meeting instance of their own. We strongly recommend scheduling your meetings outside of this maintenance window to ensure a smooth and predictable meeting experience.

SMTP Relay Service infrastructure Friday, April 24, 2020, 8:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2020, 10:00 PM

Systems Administration will be performing a disaster recovery failover test of our SMTP Relay Service infrastructure, which is used by Linux-based servers to send e-mails such as Banner, Qualtrics, Ricoh Scanner/Copier/Printers, and various Networking/Systems Administration Appliances. 

End-User Impact:
Users of the systems that utilize the SMTP Relay Service will experience disruptions in messages being delivered during the scheduled maintenance. Most systems may "queue up" the message and try to resend. Some systems might get a 'relay error' temporarily.

Users will see a new button for each add-in within Outlook.  The Message Header Analyzer (MHA) helps users quickly access the message headers of an email in a readable form. The Report Message add-in works with Outlook to allow users to report suspicious messages to Microsoft, and also allows users to manage how their Office 365 email account handles these messages.

January 3rd, 2019, 10:00PM Systems Administration will be renewing SSL certificates on our rdgateway servers, which are involved with authentication for the Islander_Student wireless network on campus.  After maintenance is completed, users connecting to the Islander Student wireless network on campus might be prompted to accept the new certificate.
